Adriana Lima At Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2011

Adriana Lima has opened up about the "intense" regime she follows ahead of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The 30-year-old Brazilian model walked down the runway in a corset with feather wings by Marian “Killer” Hose, a Juliette Meurisse necklace, and Giuseppe Zanotti Design boots.

"Those teenagers out there, don't go starving yourself or only drinking liquids. Don't do that please," she told ET Canada Thursday. Fox News reveals the supermodel participates in twice-daily workouts for two weeks before the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and tosses in a diet that is catching a bit of criticism.

The brunette beauty started the show looking like a superhero is a simple blue set of matching knickers and bra as she sashayed down the runway with an 'incredible' cape floating behind her. "It is really intense, it's not really the amount of time you spend working out, it's the intensity: I jump rope, I do boxing, I lift weights, but I get bored doing that. If I am not moving I get bored very easily," she says.
Suffering for beauty ... Adriana Lima reveals her gruelling diet and fitness regimen.

For the “Super Angels” part of the show, Adriana paired a Victoria’s Secret Incredible push up bra and matching panty with hand-painted silk by Jeff Fender Studio and leather gloves by Pamela Woods.

She's seen a nutritionist to ensure she has as much energy as possible and drinks a gallon of water a day. When the show is nine days away she'll only consume protein shakes "no solids", then two days before she'll drink just a normal amount of water.
Adriana Lima has some advice for anyone planning an extreme diet to imitate her slim physique when she struts on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway: Don't try this at home.

She indulges in "no solids" for those days, and then, for 12 hours before the show, "No liquids at all so you dry out, sometimes you can lose up to eight pounds just from that," Lima, 30, told the U.K.'s Daily Telegraph.
