Bhutan king and queen share first public kiss.
Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, 31, is one of the youngest monarchs in the world. The will-he, won't-he guessing game ended on Saturday when South Asia's political royal scion Rahul Gandhi made an appearance on the second day of the wedding celebrations of Bhutan's King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk.
As the dawn broke in the tiny Himalayan kingdom, the newly-wed walked hand-in-hand to the TashichhoDzong, the office of the King, along with a ceremonial procession of over 100 people, including traditional artistes and red-robe monks.

Thursday at Bhutan’s most sacred monastery fortress in the old capital of Punakha wearing the bright yellow sash of royalty. King Jigme Khesar is the fifth in a line of hereditary rulers who have reigned in Bhutan for the last 100 years. Their wedding was celebrated with a huge reception Saturday where the couple shared their first public kiss.

Traditional dancers performed for them. Children put on a taekwondo demonstration and the prime minister and lawmakers danced with the king on the sports field.
