National Movie Awards Red Carpet, Winners And Much More...

The National Movie Awards took place tonight, Wednesday 11th May, at London's Wembley Arena. The "British Oscars" is a glitzy event, with plenty of stars descending on the capital to celebrate a year in film.
Hosted by Daybreak presenter, Christine Bleakley, the glittering occasion will see some of the world’s favourite films and movie stars battle it out to scoop the title of Best Fantasy, Best Drama, Must See Movie, Best Comedy, Best Animation, One to Watch (Brits going global) and Performance of the Year.

The nominations for the 2011 National Movie Awards have been announced and both Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts I and II have received recognition, as well as Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Helena Bonham Carter.

Daily Mail writes about Christine Bleakley that she certainly seemed to be dropping hints for her footballer beau as she arrived at the L'Oreal Paris National Movie Awards wearing a white lacy dress, similar in style to the Alexander McQueen gown Kate Middleton wore when she married Prince William.

"British Oscars" awards show is a little different, as all the voting is done by the public. So it's a good opportunity to see if people like Black Swan and The Social Network as much as critics do. Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison will present the clip on stage at the film bash at London's Wembley Arena. Bird recently revealed that the shoot for the movie, which is out in August, in Malia turned into chaos.

She’s no stranger to red carpet affairs, and earlier today (May 11) Nicole Scherzinger was spotted at the 2011 National Movie Awards in London, England.

The former Pussycat Doll was joined by her hunky beau Lewis Hamilton as she strolled inside the Wembley Arena for the big event.
